Hello everyone!
The game is recently updated (11.06.22) and soon there will also be a devlog on YT.
This is/will be a little game created for Alternative Engine Jam 2.
This is my second project on itch.io and second game jam I have ever took part of. The game is made on UPBGE.
Controls:
-Mouse to look
-Left button to shoot
-WASD to move
For now it at least does follow the jam theme - Blind Spot. Enemies are always spawning in the darkness behind you.
Now I have added health, shooting and enemy attack mechanics. As well as some many visual updates and menus, sounds and few other things.

Install instructions
Just download the .zip and run the .exe inside. Your antivirus might interfere with the .exe so you might have to turn it off for a moment!

Cool little game, even a bit scary at first. Love the whacky sound effects 😄
Thanks a lot for the comment! Sound is definitely an important part, even the most silly sound effects can make the game feel more complete and make you forget about other details that are lacking.
Indeed! One question though - why is the player in a box?
Well, there isn't really a reason behind it, it's pretty much just the bounding box for collisions, movement and stuff, I should definitely make it invisible :D
Ah, haha, alright, I see. I thought the character is in a cart or something, initially :D
